Camping!

Last weekend we made our first attempt at camping with a toddler... It went really well! Yay!

We went to a 3D bow shoot that J loves to go to every year. Little Miss A loved walking through the woods and seeing the 'animals' (3D targets) and petting them! :)

We stayed in a tent, which I have maybe done one time since I was single digits in age, but it was fun! We had some CHILLY nights! The first night I could hardly sleep because I was so nervous that A would be cold. I think I got about two hours of sleep. The second night I made up her bed differently and everyone slept better.

We had quite a bit of rain, but not enough to ruin the weekend. It was sunny most of Saturday which gave our shoes and jackets a chance to dry out.

So we've decided we're going again! We actually had already planned two other camping trips this summer... one the last weekend of July for my birthday and one in August with all of my cousins, but we're going to do even more than that now that we know how much A liked it!

So Memorial day weekend is booked for us now! And Papa and Nana (my parents) are going to come with us! Yay! Should be a fun weekend!

Before that though, there is a graduation to attend for my sweet SIL, and I'm going to a Beth Moore retreat in the cities with a girlfriend the weekend after that!
