On the road again!

Today is the day we get back on the road again! Well, on the road and then in the air! Vegas here I come!

We had such a fantastic trip to Indiana! It was so fun to get to spend some time with Grandma Nana on the drive down there and the the two kids just loved loved loved playing together! They hadn't seen each other since Easter, but it didn't take more than five minutes of playing in ACJ's room to get them back to best friend status! :)

My brother-in-law's sister was in the states from India at the same time so it was extra fun to get to see her! I hadn't seen her since my little A was six months old!

Our drive back was great. It took 11 hours and 55 minutes from my sister's door to mine. That included three stops to let A get out and stretch her legs and to let this prego mama use the restroom! A did great on the trip! She only was fussy once and turning on the DVD player fixed that. And amazingly that didn't happen until we were almost all the way through Wisconsin! I joke that I fussed more than she did on the trip! :)

When we got home we shifted gears and were home for less than 12 hours until we went over to Papa J's for a bonfire to celebrate J's 28th birthday! Yahoo! What a fun day! I was tired, but that couldn't keep me from enjoying so many of our friends coming to enjoy the fire and s'mores with us! Plus J's mom was up for a family wedding so it was fun to get to have her, his step-dad, his brother and sister there too! But by midnight his sister and I decided we had spent enough time around people who were enjoying the keg... so we came back to PR and slept in nice comfortable beds as compared to staying on the floor at Papa J's!

The next day was J's cousin's wedding day. She was so beautiful. The wedding was very nice and the reception was super fun. A slept through the whole ceremony... scratch that. She SNORED through the whole ceremony. Almost everyone around us was giggling at her. :) And she danced the night away at the reception. I don't think we left until almost 11 and she was still going strong!

Sunday was another cousin's graduation reception and then we finally were able to catch our breath!

So this past week has been spent catching up on my household stuff and getting ready to hit the road again!

This afternoon A and I will head over to Uncle A and Auntie J's where she'll stay as I'm gone this weekend. I'll fly out of the town they live in so that's super handy. I have total confidence in my brother and his wife for watching A, but I hope A is good for them! She knows her limits at home, but when we are someplace else I know she likes to test them a little. But A & J will do a great job, even if a little spoiling happens. ;)

And I'm off to Las Vegas! My best friend is getting married in October, and we're having her (first) bachelorette party there this weekend! I am so excited! I've never been there before and am looking forward to getting to see the town! And I'm sure I'll get to take a good look since I wont be drinking! :)

I'll be home Monday night so we wont get to be with J on father's day, but we asked his permission for that months ago before I booked my flights.

Phew! There an update on what's been going on and what's coming up! Hopefully the rest of June is a little more calm for us! Although the craziness sure has been fun!
