The last couple weeks have just flown by. Thanksgiving was wonderful!!! A was a little overwhelmed with all of the people here (15 adults, 2 babies) but she did pretty good.
Her has been mixed up since her last round of teething almost a month ago. Last night (finally) she was only up one time which was about the best she's done in three weeks. Hopefully we'll get back into the groove. I'm sure once we do, another round of teething will hit and we'll be up again.
My mom told me today that she heard once that "No one ever died from a lack of sleep." I told her the person who said that was probably a husband laying in bed half asleep trying to make his wife feel better as she was getting up five times during the night. Mom laughed. :)
I got A's Christmas dress today. Well, two actually! Since we have so many families we will be celebrating with, I decided we could spring for two dresses! They are so cute! And we got some black shiny Mary Jane shoes. I can't wait to get her all dressed up.
I also got her Christmas present... a car seat for when she outgrows the one she's in now. She's 17 pounds and can only stay in it until she's 20. It will also work when she can turn around and face forward after she's a year old.
She's started standing now. She likes to hold onto something and just stand there. After a bit her hips will start to sway a little, and then she'll tip over if you don't catch her. But it's fun to watch. She has also started this thing where she will swing her right arm around like crazy. She'll swat at the Christmas tree, or the toys, or the dog, or the water in the tub. Sometimes even mama as she is nursing.
I can hardly believe tomorrow is December! I'm going to work on our Christmas letter tonight. Hopefully I'll have them out in a couple weeks. We got a Christmas card in the mail today. It made me smile. More than likely, if you read this you'll be getting a Christmas card from us. Hopefully they turn out well!
