I had an eye appointment so A went over to Great Grandma B and Great Grandpa K's and played for three hours. Apparently she had a blast! And I think the Grandparents did too!
I felt funny doing something without her, but I think it was probably good for us both. And there's a chance they are going to watch her again on the 1st of May because the hubs and I are invited to a "soft opening" for a restaurant he's been working on. (Soft openings make me think of Ocean's Thirteen.) We'll see if that works out because on May 2nd we're having A's second 1st birthday party! :)
This coming Saturday we're having her first 1st birthday party. It will be all family. Just some of her grandparents and all of her aunts and uncles, and we'll still have at least 20 people here! (That's what happens when a little girl has 13 grandparents!) Then the weekend after that we're going to have another birthday party for her "friends." Which pretty much means friends of ours who also have kids. :) I'm sure both parties are going to be fun!
But I need to get stuff ready! Do you remember the play house I'm working on? All four sides have been done for a while, but I'm planning on pinning it all together today and hopefully getting it sewn today too!

Haha! Apparently it's like a dress rehearsal for a restaurant. They make sure everything is running smoothly before they’re open to the public. We’re invited because J was one of their contractors.
