Day three has been great!
But before that, here's how yesterday finished up.
She woke up from her nap dry and went on the potty right away. Yahoo! The rest of the afternoon went okay, but she was definitely distracted when J got home from work. She did have one accident last night but I think that topped us out at three accidents yesterday. And she went in the potty five times so our success/accident ratio is improving greatly!
Now day three...
She woke up dry this morning and went on the potty right away. All day she has been really good about telling me when she has to go. We have had one tiny accident but as soon as she realized she was going, it's like she stopped because it was the smallest little accident. We went straight into the bathroom but she didn't go anymore. But then about ten minutes later she was in the kitchen with me and said "Mama, peepee!" so we rushed right into the bathroom. Success!
She was dry after her nap again today so I am feeling super encouraged! And after her nap, she didn't go right away, but like earlier, about ten minutes later she was telling me she had to go. Woohoo!
We'll see how she does when J gets home today. Yesterday it was like she didn't want to think about it anymore, and just play with daddy. Hopefully today she can still just play with daddy, but we can avoid our end of the evening accident that we had last night.
Tomorrow we're heading down to J's mom's place for a long weekend. A weekend enjoying their awesome pool... sounds great to me! Hopefully our "Big Girl" does well down there too!
