A's sleeping again, so I'm back to tell you about the rest of our past two weeks!
While we were at my parents, by brother and SIL got snowed in with her family, so we only got to see them for about two hours before we came back home. But I was excited when either later that night, or the next day I got some texts from my SIL that they would maybe think about coming to our house for New Years! Yay! It worked out that they could and they were able to spend four nights with us. It was so fun to have them here. My brother, AA, got to go snowmobiling with J a couple times and got to go out to the spear house with our neighbor and J to try to get some fish. My SIL, JA, was an amazing help once again! I've decided I want her here before I am ever hosting an even... she's the best! :) She helped me get things together and in order for New Years Eve. We had AA, JA, Grandpa J, the neighbors and ourselves here! It was a noisy house with a 28 month old, a 9 month old and an 8 month old, but still a very fun night.
After everyone left, JA and I gave ourselves pedicures before the ball dropped! We really know how to send out a year! Watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve party just before midnight, my brother got to see the ball drop for the first time (we never had tv when we were younger.) Everyone kissed their spouse, we toasted with our sparkling juice and rang in the new year!
It's fun to think about what kinds of things will happen in 2010. A will learn how to walk and talk this year! That's amazing! She has just in the last week started to twist and turn her body more. We're wondering if movement is on it's way?!? Both J and I will turn 27 this year. I think that will officially put me in my upper 20's. I don't think I'm afraid of it, just surprised I'm already that age. I still feel like I'm 23 in a lot of ways. J and I will celebrate our 4th anniversary this year, and officially be married longer than we dated. It's fun to think we'll have been married the "majority" of the time we've been together by next fall! :) My parents will celebrate their 35th anniversary and J's grandparents will celebrate their 50th! I am pretty sure 2010 will be a good year!
