I was kindly reminded by my SIL that I haven't posted in a while. :)
Christmas was wonderful. It seemed like we celebrated for more than a week straight! We spent a long weekend at J's mom's. A got to see her first hockey games and had fun playing with her Auntie S and Uncle C. When we got home we had a Christmas supper with our neighbors and their two little girls. The girls all had presents for each other, so that was cute. Their little girl is five weeks older than A and is a crawling machine. A watches her like she's interested, but still not following. (Although we're getting closer I think!)
Then we celebrated on Christmas Eve with J's dad, grandparents and great grandma. It was a fun celebration. I swear those adults could just stare at the baby for an hour! :) Every little thing that A does is praised and cheered by her grandparents. It's pretty cute. A got her first gun from Grandpa J! I was surprised, but not bothered by it at all. I guess Great Grandma B was worried I would be mad, but I thought it was perfect that A got her first gun from Grandpa J.
We left and braved the weather to drive to my parents a day early, knowing we wouldn't be able to drive on Christmas day because of the blizzard. The drive was rough, and then of course A started crying during one of the worst parts. We made it though!
Celebrating at my parents was fun. A got to play with her cousin ACJ. It's so fun to watch those two grow. They're just seven weeks apart, but when we weighed them, they both weigh 17.2 pounds and are just over 26 inches! The exact same size!
A just woke up from a nap... I'll finish updating later! :)
