Another project

In prep for FL I have another project...

All it is, is a 5 yard piece of t-shirt material, cut 20" wide. Then I checked out www.wrapyourbaby.com and did the Front Wrap Cross Carry.

I hemmed the short ends (after I took the pictures), but not the long sides. I could, but hemming 10 yards just doesn't seem like fun to me, so I left those sides rough. I also made some stitches to mark half way through the fabric so I don't have to fold it in half each time to find the middle.

It's really comfortable and A seems to like it. It folds up nice and small so I'll pack it for our trip and we'll see if it gets used or not! :)

  1. You are so darn talented!!! I am SO jealous!! I just borrowed my mom's sewing machine (which hasn't been touched in ages) and I want to come up with some easy sewing projects, maybe some burp cloths and bibs to give to friends who are having babies. Got any great Web sites you like to get inspired about things like that?

    Seriously, it blows my mind you just made a hat with no pattern for your little kiddo! :) Awesome.

  3. You're sweet, and good for my self esteem. :) But honestly I borrow a lot of my ideas from other blogs.

    are two awesome sites. If you're looking for an awesome burp cloth, I love this one;

    I've made quite a few of them. They're easy and so nice. I have a few set aside for shower gifts for some people we know who are expecting!
