Just about ready...

Well, tomorrow we leave for our trip. This is what my living room looks like in preparation...

Yikes. Notice how even though I have the suitcase, the diaper bag, and my two other bags out so I can be adding things to them and organizing them, the toys still rule the living room. :) It makes it much easier to keep packing if little miss A can be surrounded by her favorites.

This was her this morning after breakfast. She was up six times during the night last night so even though she had just gotten up she was wanting her blankie and sucking her thumb.


Can you tell in the background that all you see is the highchair? That's because we've gotten our old kitchen table out of the dining room to make room for the new one J will hopefully be bringing home this evening! Do you also see the blue hamper on the recliner? This is just a continuation of the craziness that is my packing.

I'm hoping to finish packing this afternoon so I can get the house picked up before we leave. I know J would really appreciate that. So hopefully I can get it done!

I think the main suitcase, the carry on and the diaper bag are about ready. Now I need to pack a separate bag for the night before we fly out and the night we get back. We'll be spending those nights at my parents'. I'm getting closer...
