I wanted to get a sun hat for her to protect her sweet little bald head from the sun but none of the stores have any out yet. So last night I decided I would try to make one.
It's not the best, but I figure for my first hat, and not having a pattern, it's not too bad. Right after I got done with it, I decided I wanted to try another one in a different way. I didn't finish it until after A had gone to bed, so I didn't get pictures of it last night, and then forgot this morning until she was down for her nap.
Here's the second hat I made. I attached the brim on the outside so it fans out from her head a little bit more than the first hat.
Then today I made a bag to hook onto A's umbrella stroller that will be going to FL with us. It's not all that big, but it actually fits quite a bit. It wont replace a diaper bag, but it will allow me to not have to carry a purse.
Jill you're so creative!!! I'm soo impressed...I can't believe you made a hat. I'm going to have to hire your services some day!!! That bag is ingenious too....
ReplyDeleteThanks Joey! :) I've had a lot of fun trying different things on my sewing machine.
