More Rain...

I am tired of the rain. I think we've had maybe four days in October where we haven't gotten some form of precipitation. If the hubs was actually done with his outside work, I would just enjoy it, but he's not. So instead of having one of the most lucrative Octobers we've over had, it has been a very stressful one for J. I wish it would just stop raining for 10-15 days so he could get what he most needs done.

We have Halloween plans! We'll take A into Great Great Grandma's and have supper with her, Great Grandma B and Great Grandpa K, and Grandpa J! I'm so excited for them to see A's costume. I've kept it a secret from them so I am just about busting at the seams with excitement!

We also have Thanksgiving plans! I'm excited to be hosting again this year! And most excited that there's a possibility that almost all of both J's families and my own will be here! We'll have a house full, but I think it will be a great day! I'm having fun working on the menu. We decided along with the turkey, I'm going to cook some bear so people can try it if they want! I don't know how many people will want to, but we thought it would be fun.

We got A's six month pictures ordered! They are the cutest things ever! I can't wait! It will take about two weeks, but then I'll get a CD with the prints so I'll be able to look at them all everyday if I wanted! We had them taken about two weeks early, but it is hard for me to believe that she's going to be six months in just one week!

  1. I've tried to write a comment a few times - I hope it works tonight! : ) JG you are doing an awesome job! Good work! I am loving reading your posts. It's so nice to hear about your day-to-day life. And that A. Oh boy... she's so cute! Auntie CJ sent me the link to her pics and they are SO DARN CUTE! Are those baby legs she has on in a few? So cute! And I'm pretty sure JG has a new hunting buddy from the smiles in camo! : ) I also love the shots with your legs in the background. So sweet!

  2. It did work! :) I must say I started blogging because I always had so much fun reading yours!

I loved her pictures too! I made her the little leg warmers out of a pair of women's socks. And I think J would be thrilled if she wanted to hunt with him someday! :)
