Yesterday was quite the morning. When I would put A to the breast to nurse, she would just scream and scream. It didn't take too long and I was crying right along with her. :(
It got a lot better though. It took me most of the rest of the the day to recuperate from the morning, but A had a really good afternoon and evening. She ended up nursing four times yesterday, which is one less than I would prefer, but she also ate baby food twice, so I know she ate enough.
Today has been great so far. She's taking her second nap and when she wakes up we're running to Great Grandma B's and then into Bax. to pick up A's six month pictures! Yay! I didn't expect them to be ready until the end of next week, so it's extra fun they're ready a week early! And we'll get the copyright release so I'm going to run right to the store to print out more!
Tomorrow is A's six month appointment with Dr. E. She'll get 4 shots. :( Hopefully she'll handle it as well as she did at two and four months. The 4th shot is a regular seasonal flu shot. We haven't decided what we want to do if we're offered the H1N1 vac. I feel like I don't feel too comfortable with the fact it is such a new one... but I know they make new vaccinations each year for what they guess the main strain of flu will be this season. But J isn't too comfortable with the idea either. That might just be the breaking point for me. I don't know how I feel, but because he really isn't too comfortable with it, I think we probably will pass on it. Maybe if she was at a daycare everyday being exposed to more stuff, I might be more interested in it, but since I'm home with her full time, I feel like I might have a little more control of what she's exposed to.
