What a week!

What a week we have had! Last Tuesday Grandma K came up with Auntie S and their foreign exchange student for two nights. A had her first pumpkin carving party and refused to nap because she apparently didn't want to miss a moment of our company.

She was up during the night on Tuesday and Wednesday night which she hardly ever does anymore. Thankfully just a midnight snack did the trick and she was back to bed both nights.

On Wednesday A's Great Aunt (Grandma K's sister) came over to see her and to finally see her house! We've lived here for more than three years and she just lives 45 minutes away, but hasn't been able to visit us until last week! It was really fun to see her and Grandma K cooked an amazing dinner of steak and crab for all of us!

On Thursday A had her SIX MONTH photo shoot! I can hardly believe that! She actually wont be six months until just before Halloween, but this was the day I could get an appointment with the photographer. She did great and sat up on her own so much during the shoot! I could hardly believe it! We did have two people right there for when she would tip over, but she really did great on her own!

Thursday night she was up SCREAMING during the night. I had no idea what was wrong. She wouldn't nurse or anything. The only thing that finally calmed her down was an airplane ride from daddy. Thank goodness he was up to help!

Friday we got all packed up and headed to C-town for our nephew's baptism. Just before we left, I was letting A chew on my knuckle and I felt something sharp... and holy cats we have a tooth! Little did I know (I figured it out a few hours later) she actually had two teeth! No wonder she was so mad the night before! Her first two teeth in one day! Wow!

Saturday we got to have an amazing meal thanks to Auntie C at Grandma Nana's. We also got to meet Uncle J's family! They came all the way from India for the baptism!

Sunday was the baptism. Once again we had a wonderful day and had an amazing meal thanks to Auntie! A refused to take a nap again and was not the happiest camper. Grandma Nana finally got her to go down after I had pretty much given up. Thank goodness for Grandmas who seem to always have patience.

The drive home Sunday evening was not the smoothest, but we did get home. A was so excited to be home she just talked and talked and talked to Daddy! It was really cute, but of course as soon as I got the video camera out, she stopped.

Now today we are just getting back into the groove of things! Laundry is the main thing on the list for the day. A slept in until 9:30 this morning, and now is just about to the three hour mark on her nap. I think she is a little tired from this past weekend!

Oh! And our other new thing is that A loves to make the "phbttt" sound. Is that how you spell that? The "motorboat" noise according to Daddy. It's pretty cute. I'm sure when I start feeding her with a spoon, I wont think it's too cute. :)
